Ram Setu: Akshay Kumar introduces his fellow expeditioner, Jacqueline Fernandez in new stills

This Diwali is turning out to be quite exciting for the Hindi film industry as two quite diverse yet intriguing films are all set to hit the theatres this festive period. While one of them is a comedy, another one is an adventure drama that promises to take the audiences on an epic ride. Akshay Kumar-led Ram Setu has been quite intriguing ever since its inception, and all the following things from the film including his look, the teaser and the trailer have just built up on that curiosity. And now, to make it more exciting, Akshay Kumar has introduced his leading ladies Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha through some new stills from the film.

Firstly, Akshay took to social media yesterday to share a still of Nushrratt and him in which they are seen holding each other. Along with it, he shared that the actress plays his wife in the film, as he wrote, “Dr. Aryan Kulshreshtha is nothing without his better half Prof. Gayatri.
His biggest critic. His biggest supporter ! (sic)”.

Today, the actor introduced his second leading lady, Jacqueline Fernandez, who is embarking on this epic adventure alongside him. Revealing her character with a still that sees them reading a book in what seems like a cave, Akshay wrote, “Iss expedition par humari nidar saathi. Environmental warrior. Meet Dr. Sandra Rebello. (sic)”.

The trailer of Ram Setu had not given much out, but what is clear is that Akshay plays an archaeologist in the film who is given the responsibility to prove the existence of Ram Setu and then eventually save it. The film promises an epic adventure and the trailer had lived up to that. Now, the film is just awaiting its theatrical release on October 25, 2022 alongside Indra Kumar’s Thank God, featuring Sidharth Malhotra, Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh.
