Rana Daggubati breaks down as he opens up about his critical health issues; says, “Had 30% chance of death”- watch

Rana Daggubati had been making headlines these days as he tied the knot with his lady love Miheeka Bajaj. The actor had flashed major couple goals on social media with his mushy posts for wifey. But, this jolly vibe had taken a gloomy turn as the actor recently came clean about his health issues that almost put him on the death bed.

In an interview with actress Samantha Akkineni on her show ‘Sam Jam’, Rana opened up about his critical illness. He shared, “When life was on a fast forward, there was suddenly a pause button. There was BP, calcification around the heart and you have failed kidneys…It could have been a 70 per cent chance of stroke or haemorrhage and 30 per cent chance of death straight.”

Samantha said, “People were crumbling around you but you were like this rock,” Rana broke down and Samantha was seen calling him her Super Hero. The fans in the audience were also seen tearing up after listening to Rana’s health conditions.

According to a report by SpotboyE, Rana had to be rushed to the USA after his kidney failure for a transplant and it was his mother who donated her kidney. The report also said that apparently Rana’s condition was caused by consuming bodybuilding steroids. Sources revealed to the portal that the family had sworn to secrecy and hence although rumours were rife, nothing was confirmed by Rana or his family. The actor also had asked his fans to not believe what they read.

Well, it is nice to see the actor hearty and healthy and back on-screen.
