Rana Daggubati’s father Suresh Babu clarifies his son is not engaged to Miheeka Bajaj

Rana Daggubati posted pictures today with his ladylove Miheeka Bajaj where he was seen dressed in a white kurta while Miheeka looked gorgeous in a bright pink saree. He captioned the pictures as “And it’s official!!” Going by the caption, people speculated that both are engaged and congratulatory messages poured in for the couple.

But Rana’s father Suresh Babu Daggubati has quashed the reports of his son’s engagement. Speaking to The New Indian Express, Suresh said, “It’s not an engagement. Our families sat together on Wednesday to discuss what all has to be done for the pre and post-wedding functions. It’s a ritual among the Telugus to meet the bride’s parents before fixing the engagement and wedding dates. We are happy to take these alliance talks forward.”

A few days back, Rana took to Instagram to announce his relationship with Miheeka. He shared a pic with Miheeka and wrote, “And she said yes! #MiheekaBajaj” along with a red heart emoji.

Earlier, Suresh Babu told Hyderabad Times, “During these grim times, we finally have a reason to celebrate. The entire family is happy. The kids have known each other for a long time now and we’re all very happy for them. The wedding will happen this year. We were thinking of having it around December but it could happen even sooner than that too. We will reveal the details once things are finalised. One thing’s for sure, the kids have given us a nice way to enhance our lockdown productivity. We’ll now be busy planning a wedding.”
