CONFIRMED: Ranbir-Alia starrer ‘Brahmastra’ Part 1 to release on THIS date

Earlier there were reports that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Brahmastra’ will release in 2019. Now, it is confirmed by the makers that the movie will be releasing in Christmas next year. The movie is made in three parts and Part 1 will hit the screens in December.

Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions announced the news on their Twitter handle. The tweet read as, “Bringing the big screen spectacle – #Brahmāstra Part 1 on #Christmas2019”

Also, Karan Johar shared the news on Twitter saying, “PART 1!!!! #BRAHMASTRA #CHRISTMAS2019 @DharmaMovies written and directed by AYAN MUKERJI.”

Backed by Dharma Productions, ‘Brahmastra’ is a fantasy adventure series directed by Ayan Mukerji. The movie also stars megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna in pivotal roles. The movie will have a clash with Salman Khan’s ‘Kick 2’.

Earlier in an interview with PTI, Ayan said, “There is lot of action, so there is lot of training, like gymnastics kind of training, horse-riding, fighting and lot of physical stuff that Ranbir will have to do. And then there is internal work, like to get the spirit of the character right. Ranbir has to observe the flavour of the film and communicate it with the audience. We are trying to imagine things, this (fantasy) world, and work accordingly.”
