Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt pregnancy: When the actor had said he might get a tattoo of his kids’ name

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt gave one of the biggest news ever to the world this morning as the couple announced their pregnancy on social media. The duo is expecting their first kid together and Alia Bhatt shared this big news with a picture of them from the hospital, looking at their unborn kid in the sonogram.

It was in April earlier this year that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had got married after years of courtship. While the two had always been quite open and vocal about their relationship, neither of them said much about embracing parenthood as such.

However, in a recent interview that Ranbir did with the Mashable, the actor had hinted on what he might do once he becomes a father himself. In a segment where he was asked some of the most burning questions for him on Google, one of them was how many tattoos he has. In response to it, Ranbir had answered, “None yet. (But) Hopefully soon yeah, the 8 or something, I don’t know. Maybe my (tattoo is) going to be (my) children’s names, I don’t know.”

For the unversed, the number 8 is Ranbir’s lucky number and the actor is quite intensely connected to it. Even wife Alia knows and embraces it. And while the actor  has not donned any tattoo yet, now that he and Alia have announced their pregnancy, it remains to be seen if the actor would indeed go and get his soon-to-be born kids’ name tattooed on him.

As for the couple, as soon as they made the big announcement in their life, congratulations have been pouring in from all corners. From friends, family and peers, everyone is quite excited to welcome the baby Kapoor-Bhatt, and seeing the adorable couple that they are, Ranbir and Alia’s kid will indeed have two of the most loving and amazing parents that one could ever ask for.
