Sandeep Reddy Vanga to tweak the OTT version of Animal
Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga revealed that there is some work to be done in the Ranbir Kapoor starrer. On this note, the director has said that he will be tweaking the OTT version of Animal. The director got into a chat with film trade analyst Komal Nahta wherein he shared that he is working on the OTT version of Animal. Sandeep Reddy revealed that he had found many problems when he first saw Animal.
Speaking about the same, Reddy said, “I don’t know how that happened. Actually, because of the five languages in which it was released, I lost track of which language sound I was checking in Chennai. The last 20 days were horrible. We slept in the mixing room for 3-4 days. I should have stayed a week more there.”
He added, “I was editing the version because there were some problems in 1-2 shots. I’m using different and a few more shots from the same take. One thing I felt was I should have left the 3 hours 30 minutes instead of 3 hours 21 minutes. I don’t know why I edited those 8-9 minutes. Now, I will be using those 5-6 minutes extra.”
Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal also carries a star cast including Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Triptii Dimri among others. Animal tells a tale about a troubled relationship between a father and a son. The Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal earned moolah at the box office as it crossed Rs.800 crores at the worldwide box office and Rs.500 crores domestically.
