“Ranbir Kapoor can’t get married till I allow him”: Deepika Paadukone

Hmmm..Deepika Padukone still seems to be pretty “close” to Ranbir Kapoor. The ‘Tamasha’ actress recently stated Ranbir wouldn’t be marrying until he has her consent on it. We yet aren’t sure what that means!

Chances of Ranbir Kapoor getting married to actress Katrina Kaif are being talked about for quite some time now. On this context Ranbir said, ““It’s a very big question about my life. I completely believe in the institution of marriage. When I will get married, I will let the whole world know about it.”.

Co-incidentally. both Ranbir and Deepika had started shooting for their debut films not only in the same year or month but on the very same day! While Ranbir entered Bollywood with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Saawariya”, Deepika’s debut took place with Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Om Shanti Om’.

“It feels just like yesterday. I saw Deepika outside Saawariya sets walking across to Om Shanti Om set. Eight years have passed and we have no idea. We have worked hard and reached the point we have desired for in our lives,”- Ranbir added.

It’s a very unique situation. We have heard about actors debuting in the same year but actors debuting on the same day is something which does not happen normally. I hope he never changes. But it has been an amazing journey.“- said Deepika, who still finds Ranbir the same, even after years.

The duo’s upcoming film ‘Tamasha’ directed by Imtiaz Ali releases on 27th November, 2015.
