Did Ranbir Kapoor just confirm being a part of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana? A fan tweet reveals interesting details

After doing an Alpha male character in Animal, Ranbir Kapoor is all set to essay the role of lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. While there have been several reports of actor being a part, a fan’s tweet has now revealed interesting details about it. As per the tweet, Ranbir Kapoor is all set to shoot for Ramayana from Summer 2024.

Ranbir Kapoor to begin shooting for Ramayana soon

On December 12, an X user shared a series of posts recently and claimed he recently discussed Ramayana with Ranbir Kapoor at the airport. The post read, “Standing ahead of Ranbir Kapoor in the immigration queue and talking about #Animal + his next crazy project wasn’t something I’d signed up for this Bombay trip. And what a lovely guy (sic).”

A report in Pinkvilla also confirmed that RK recently jetted off to US for Pre-Viz. “There is some tech rehearsal expected to take place in LA in January 2024 and RK will be off to the US for a couple of weeks. It’s essentially for pre-viz,” a source cited by the portal stated. A day ago, the actor was even seen in an uber-cool winter look at the Airport.

Other details about Ramayana

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the movie is touted to be mounted on a grand scale. As per reports, it will star Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Raavan. Speculations are also rife that Sunny Deol might essay the role of Hanuman in the film. It is expected to release in 2025.

Talking about Ranbir, the actor is currently basking in the success of his recent release Animal.
