Actor Ranbir Kapoor and his wife, actress Alia Bhatt issued a ‘no photo policy’ for their daughter Raha Kapoor, after her birth. The couple held a meet and greet session with the paparazzi and requested them to not click photos of their little one, until they say so. They also told the paps to add a baby emoji or not post the video, if Raha makes an appearance in their camera. Speaking with Kareena Kapoor Khan on What Women Want, the Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar actor opened up about his concerns on the ‘no photo policy’.
Ranbir Kapoor on daughter Raha’s ‘no photo policy’
The actor said that as parents, his wife Alia Bhatt and he would always want to protect the privacy of their little one. However, Ranbir Kapoor said he hopes that daughter Raha Kapoor wouldn’t grow up and say that her cousins Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh Ali Khan are frequently clicked, but she is not.
According to a report in ETimes, opening up on the ‘no photo policy’, Ranbir said, “So as parents, we will try to protect it (Raha’s privacy) as much as we can. We just want for her to have a normal upbringing. To go to school, to not make her feel too special, different around other children. She should just have a normal life.“
In a promo shared by the makers of Kareena Kapoor Khan’s show, the Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar actor says, “(Raha should not grow up and after 4-5 years say), Dekho Taimur aur Jeh ke itni photos le rahe hai, meri to koi photos hi nahi le raha (How frequently are Taimur and Jeh clicked by them, no one clicks my pictures).”
Meanwhile, Kapoor recently travelled to London with Alia, their daughter Raha to celebrate Bhatt’s birthday. Alia Bhatt celebrated her 30th birthday on March 15 and even shared photos from her fun-filled celebrations.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor got married in April, last year. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Raha Kapoor in November, 2022.
On the work front, Ranbir has the movie Animal in his kitty. He was last seen in the film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar.
