Bhushan Kumar, head honcho of T-Series, is ready to start the shoot of his next home production ‘Roy’ from March-end. Roy, a romantic-action-drama, stars Ranbir Kapoor in the title role of a mystique novelist along with Arjun Rampal as a director and Jacqueline Fernandez in a double role.
Earlier there were reports that Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in a cameo role in the film, however, Bhushan Kumar confirmed, “Ranbir plays the title role in the film. It isn’t a special appearance that he is doing. We shall begin shooting in March and the film will be ready for release in September.”
He futher added, “Roy is a sole T-Series produced film that will go on floor on March 28 in Mumbai. The production and directorial team has already started the pre-production work. The Mumbai schedule will be on for 15 days then move to an international schedule that will go on for 45 days. Vikram and his team are working day in and day out with our team ensuring everything is on track.”
The film slated to release on September 12, 2014 will be directed by debutant director Vikramjit Singh. The shoot for the first schedule of the film starts on March 28 in Mumbai, which will go on for 15 days.
