Ranbir Kapoor, who tested COVID 19 positive a few days back, has recovered from it. The actor was in self-quarantine for the last two weeks. Randhir Kapoor confirmed the news to PTI and said, “Ranbir is absolutely fine now. He is alright. I have met him.” It all started after Ridhima Kapoor Sahni shared a picture with Ranbir Kapoor from the 11-month prayer meet for their late father Rishi Kapoor. Fans expressed their concern over his health status on the post. Ranbir had reportedly dropped on the sets of Gangubai Kathawadia where he along with Sanjay Leela Bhansali contracted COVID. Bhansali himself tested negative just recently.
The family held an 11-month prayer meet for late actor Rishi Kapoor on Thursday where Ranbir and Ridhima are seen offering prayers. Sahni posted a picture and captioned it, “Always watching over us. We miss you.” For those unversed, Rishi Kapoor passed away in April 2020 after battling leukemia for almost 2 years.
Meanwhile, when Ranbir had tested positive, Neetu Kapoor had confirmed it on Instagram with a note. Neetu earlier wrote: “Thank you for your concern and your good wishes. Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well. He is in self quarantine at home and following all precautions.”

On the professional front, Ranbir had been shooting Ayan Mukerji’s action fantasy film “Brahmastra” alongside girlfriend Alia Bhatt. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy and is expected to release this year. The shooting for the film was stalled midway after Ranbir tested COVID positive. Apart from Brahmastra, Ranbir will also be seen in Shamshera which releases in June this year.
