Ranbir Kapoor has declined the reports of him raising his fee to Rs. 20 crores. This clarification came on the heels of the news of RK Jr charging a huge sum for ‘Besharam’ that flopped miserably at the box office.
As per sources, Ranbir said,”I am jobless now have no new films hence this look. I don’t know if you have seen my last film (‘Besharam’ – hinting at the failure of the film). It is embarrassing to talk about the economics of business (fee hike). Actors share profit and loss of a film. It is not true (Rs. 20 crore hike)”.
Ranbir was quite supportive of Deepika Padukone too demanding a share in the profit of her movie ‘Finding Fanny Fernandez’. He thinks there should be no difference between female and male actors. “A female actor’s contribution to a film is immense. I can’t speak for anybody. I am a producer now and I understand the economics of a film. An actor shares profit as well as loss.”
Ranbir Kapoor is sad that Sachin Tendulkar is calling it a day, as he is the God of cricket and adds that he might go and watch the master blasters last match.
