Ranbir Kapoor & Katrina Kaif’s ‘Jagga Jasoos’ postponed yet again

‘Jagga Jasoos‘ has been in the making since two long years now. The Anurag Basu directorial starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in titular roles has been getting delayed and mired in controversies every now and then. The moment the film was back on track news of the lead actors break up caused panic among the makers.

Thankfully the actors kept their personal discord aside and resumed the shoot of the film in a professional manner. As soon as the shoot of the film was resumed, the release date of the film was declared as June 3. But looks like the delay ghost is still haunting the upcoming film as it has been delayed once again.

Katrina Kaif revealed, “Jagga Jasoos won’t release in June. It will release around July-end or August. That’s what the producers have told me. The reason behind the delay is due to the fact that we have about 60-70 more days on ‘Jagga Jasoos’. There’s a little bit left for the film to be completed.”

She further added, “With Anurag Basu, you never know what he’s going to pull out of his hat. Everyone has got so much respect for him. For that kind of art, you got to give it time. You cannot rush art sometimes and that’s our process on that film.”

Ranbir Kapoor will be playing the role of a detective in the film with Katrina Kaif as his aide, the two will be seen going on a search for Ranbir’s missing father played by multitalented actor Govinda. ‘Jagga Jasoos’ has Ranbir Kapoor playing the role of a 19 year old teenager to a 40 year old man. On the other hand, Katrina’s role in ‘Jagga Jasoos’ is that of a 22-year-old.
