Ranbir Kapoor looks dashing in checkered blazer at Red Sea Film Festival, opens up on directing a movie

Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor made a classy entry at the Red Sea Film Festival. The Brahmastra star was looking dapper in a checkered blazer and a white shirt. He had accessorised his look by opting for black shades. The actor opened up about his aspirations to become a movie director and more at the event.

The Red Sea Film Festival is being held in Saudi Arabia, it commenced on December 1 and will continue till December 10. Fans couldn’t contain their joy and excitement when Ranbir Kapoor finally arrived at the event.

In an interview with Deadline Hollywood, Ranbir Kapoor said, “I’ve always wanted to direct and produce a movie. But I still haven’t quite acquired the bravery to pen a narrative. I’ve always waited for a narrative to spontaneously occur to me. The problem is that I’m not a writer and I find it difficult to express my views to others. To start directing movies and, ideally, acting in them is something I’m striving toward and has been a part of my ten-year goal.”

On being asked if he had plans to debut in Hollywood the Barfi star said, “I’d never say never, but I’m generally satisfied with the options that are presented to me in my own language and nation. Since it comes easily to me, I’d like to behave in my own tongue. Never say never, though.”

The year has been special for the Kapoor scion as he not only tied the knot with his ladylove Alia Bhatt but also welcomed a baby girl Raha Kapoor with her.

On the work front, post the super success of Brahmastra, Ranbir Kapoor will next be seen in Animal co-starring Rashmika Mandanna and Anil Kapoor. He also has a Luv Ranjan film with Shraddha Kapoor.
