Bollywood’s handsome hunk Ranbir Kapoor is an avid football player. His love for the sport is quite evident as he is often spotted playing the game and also co-owns the Mumbai FC football club. During a recent sports event, the actor was asked about an opponent he would never want to play against. Ranbir Kapoor had an interesting answer as he took the name of wifey Alia Bhatt.

Recently, Ranbir launched his team Mumbai FC’s new jersey at an event. During an interaction there, when asked to name his least-wanted opponent, the actor said, “I’ll choose my wife, Alia. Because she’s very competitive. And if I beat her at the game, I know I’ll be hearing about it for a long time and she will really sulk with me. So, I would avoid playing with her.”

When the host suggested that Alia might celebrate better and longer if she beats him, Ranbir replied, “Exactly. So, I’m screwed both ways.” Well, RK’s words for Alia remind us of Monica from popular American sitcom Friends. The character essayed by Courteney Cox was shown highly competitive, often seen going an extra mile to win.

The couple fell in love on the sets of their maiden collaboration, Brahmastra. After being in a relationship for 5 years, the two finally tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at their Mumbai house in April last year. The couple are now proud parents to their baby girl Raha.

The actor was last seen in Luv Ranjan’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar alongside Shraddha Kapoor. He is currently gearing up for the release of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal in December. It is an action thriller which also stars Anil Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in pivotal roles. The actor is reportedly also leading Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana alongside wife Alia and superstar Yash.
