All thanks to Kangana Ranaut the whole world is talking about nepotism, and every actor is being asked about if it actually exists in the industry. While most of the actors prefer giving diplomatic answer about it, Ranbir Kapoor is one actor who has said that it exists in the industry and he is the product of nepotism.
The actor told a leading daily, “It exists in the film industry, and I am a product of nepotism. I am here today because of my parents. My father got an opportunity because of his father. So, I believe if my children choose to be actors, I would like to give them a platform.”
“If they want to be doctors, I will provide them with the education and the backing. Films have been our family business for the past 85 years. Yes, it is unfair to a lot of people who are way more talented than us, but we do get opportunities, and we do get the attention,” Ranbir added.
When it comes to films, Ranbir’s first movie as a producer, ‘Jagga Jasoos’, which also stars him in the lead role, hits the screens today. (Also Read: Did Disney threaten to sue Anurag Basu and Ranbir Kapoor for ‘Jagga Jasoos’?)
‘Eat Sleep Bollywood Repeat’ is his life Mantra. Dance is his first love and Rani Mukerji is his eternal crush. He is someone who loves being himself, and as for the ones who don’t agree, his reply? “Talk to my hand!”
