Ranbir Kapoor opens up on becoming a father soon: I am grateful, excited and terrified

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are expecting their first child. The couple is beyond happy. Alia announced her pregnancy in June. The actress had shared a picture of her and Ranbir from the hospital and captioned it as, “Our Baby…. Coming Soon.” Now, Ranbir talked about being a father soon.

Ranbir was quoted by PTI as saying, “I am feeling grateful, excited, nervous and terrified. Because I have so many expectations of myself and of this relationship and what I want from it and what I want to give…. These are the only adjectives I can use.”

Recently, Ranbir broke his silence on whether the pregnancy announcement made by his wife, Alia was a ‘publicity stunt’ for Brahmastra. Brahmastra stars Alia, Ranbir, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy.

Ranbir gave a befitting reply to trolls as he told Hindustan Times, “Alia and I, as a married couple, thought that it would just seem right to tell the world because we felt it was the right time. We just wanted to share the joy and the news with the world and there was no other thought to it.”

Alia and Ranbir tied the knot in April this year. The couple married in the presence of their close friends and family members. After the wedding, Alia had shared photos on Instagram.

On the work front, Ranbir is busy promoting his film Shamshera. Shamshera also stars Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor. Ranbir will be seen as Shamshera and Balli, Vaani will be play Sona. Apart from this, Ranbir also has Brahmastra in the pipeline. Ranbir has also Luv Ranjan’s untitled film in the pipeline.
