Ranbir Kapoor opens up on romancing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

Ranbir Kapoor starrer Shamshera is one of the most talked-about films of this year. Ranbir will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar. He will be fighting against Sanjay Dutt in Shamshera. The actor is leaving no stone unturned to promote his upcoming film. Recently, in an interview with Mashabale India, Ranbir was shown several old images and he was narrating the incident related to those pictures.

The actor was shown an old picture of him posing with Aishwarya. Ranbir and Aishwarya have worked together in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The duo’s chemistry had won hearts.

Reacting to the picture, Ranbir said, “Who wouldn’t be jealous of this picture?” He added that he was assisting his father on a film called Aa Ab Laut Chale and the picture was taken in New York. Ranbir also revealed that even though he was younger to Aishwarya, she befriended him and they used to chat about movies. Ranbir revealed that they also talked about her character in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam that she was shooting at that time.

The actor then called himself lucky to have had a friend like her and also to get an opportunity to work with her in a film. Ranbir smiled and said, “not many people get a chance to romance Aishwarya Rai on the screen.”

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil also starred Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan.

Talking about Shamshera, apart from Ranbir and Sanjay, it also stars Vaani Kapoor, Ronit Roy and Tridha Choudhury. Shamshera is directed by Karan Malhotra and produced by Aditya Chopra. The film is slated to release on 22^nd July.

Apart from Shamshera, Ranbir will also be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra with Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy. He also has Luv Ranjan’s next with Shraddha Kapoor.
