Bollywood hearthrob Ranbir Kapoor is one of the talented actors of his generation. The actor had started his journey in the world of entertainment as an assitant director to Sanjay Leela Bhansali. But before that he assisted in the making of Prem Granth (1997) and his late father Rishi Kapoor’s directorial debut Aa Ab Laut Chalen (1999). In a recent interview Ranbir Kapoor opened up on his first pay check and what he did with it.

Ranbir Kapoor in an interview with Mashable India reminisced about the time when he got his first paycheck and what he did with the money earned.

The actor in his recent conversation with Mashable revealed that his first paycheck was rupees 250. He had recived the amount as a clapping boy for his father Rishi Kapoor’s film Prem Granth,when he was a child. The Ae Dil Hai Mushkil star said that he kept it at his mother Neetu Kapoor’s feet ‘like a good boy’.

Ranbir said “My first paycheck was ₹250 that I got while assisting on Prem Granth. Like a good boy I went to my mother’s room and I put it on her feet, she looked at it and started crying. It was one of the filmy moments that I performed.

On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor has back-to-back releases this year. Yes, the Barfi star is currently gearing up for the release of Shamshera that also stars Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor. It will be releasing on July 22. The actor will also be seen in Brahmastra with Alia Bhatt.
