Ranbir Kapoor to replace Hrithik Roshan for time travel drama

Excel Entertainment’s time-travel drama is going through a major hurdle as the main lead is being constantly replaced. After Aamir Khan opted out of the film, to be directed by Nitya Mehra, Hrithik had stepped in to his shoes. Now, we hear that Hrithik is on his way out too.

As per sources, “Hrithik has already agreed to do Ashutosh Gowariker’s period epic, Mohenjo-Daro. The date when Ashutosh’s film goes on floor, clashes with Excel’s time-travel drama. He can only choose one out of the two. Now they are looking for another A-lister. They are planning to approach Ranbir Kapoor for the same role. It remains to be seen if he agrees to do it.”

The movie is of the science fiction genre and the production house plans to put the film on floors early next year.
