Ranbir Kapoor reveals he and Alia Bhatt have a list of baby names ready with the letter ‘R’

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are all set to become parents. The couple is expecting their first child. In June, Alia announced her pregnancy. The actress had shared a picture of herself with Ranbir from the hospital and captioned it as, “Our Baby… Coming soon.” Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are beyond happy and can’t wait to welcome their first baby. In a recent interview, Ranbir revealed that he and Alia have a long list of names ready for their soon-to-be-born baby.

Speaking with Filmibeat, Ranbir said that they have a long list of names ready with the letter R – since many in his family have been named with the same letter. The actor added that they also have a list of names starting with non-R letters.

Ranbir went on to add that they haven’t zeroed in on any names yet. The actor added that when you will hold the baby for the first time and the name that instinctively comes to your mind is a very special moment. He said that they are ready with all the names but will see what personality suits what.

In an earlier interview with Mashable India, Ranbir had said that he will encourage his kids to play sports, especially soccer. The actor had said, “I always like when young children are into sports, it is something I would definitely encourage my children in the future, especially soccer.”

Alia and Ranbir tied the knot in April this year. The couple got married in the presence of family members and friends. On the work front, Ranbir and Alia have interesting projects in the pipeline. Ranbir will be seen in Shamshera and Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. Ranbir will be seen opposite Alia in Brahmastra. The actor also has Luv Ranjan’s next.

Alia, on the other hand, also has Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. She will be making her Hollywood debut with Heart of Stone which also stars Gal Gadot, Jamie Dornan, Sophie Okonedo and Matthias Schweighofer.
