Ranbir Kapoor reveals THIS was his first gift to daughter Raha and it has a special connection with his lucky number

Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot with Alia Bhatt after dating for a couple of years. The couple welcomed their baby girl in November and named her Raha Kapoor. Recently in an interview, Ranbir Kapoor revealed all about his first gift for his daughter Raha Kapoor.

The Barfi star has been busy promoting his film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. In an interview, the actor revealed his first gift to his daughter Raha Kapoor and it has a connection with his lucky number.

Speaking to ETimes Ranbir Kapoor said, “A sneaker. They are really small sneakers. Nike sneakers and a Barcelona jersey in her size with her name and the number 8.”

It is no secret that number 8 is Ranbir Kapoor’s lucky number and the actor had explained the significance behind it. In an interview with Mashable India in 2022 he said, “Well, there’s no reason like there’s no superstition attached to it, my mother’s birthday is on the eighth (July) and it’s just a number that I connected with you know I like the way it looks, it looks like an infinity.”

The Brahmastra stars also shared a glimpse of the Barcelona jersey as they shared their daughter’s name and its meaning on Instagram.

The actor in an interview with Bollywood Bubble also revealed that he was the one who clicked the first picture of his daughter with his wife Alia Bhatt. He further shared, “The moment I put her on Alia.“

On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor starrer Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has released in theatres on March 8. The Luv Ranjan directorial also featuring Shraddha Kapoor has opened to positive remarks. Ranbir also has Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal in his kitty. The movie also features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead.

Alia Bhatt is currently in Kashmir shooting for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer Singh. Leaked pictures of the actress from the sets there created a buzz on the internet. In the picture, Alia is looking pretty in a red ensemble.
