Ranbir Kapoor heaps praise as he reveals his review on Alia Bhatt starrer Darlings

Alia Bhatt starrer Darlings is releasing on Netflix on August 5. The teaser was unveiled recently and it was lauded by celebs and audiences. Alia’s actor husband Ranbir Kapoor has already watched the film and he is all praise for it. Kapoor revealed his review on Darlings at one of the promotions of his film Shamshera.

At the event, when Ranbir was asked if he has seen the teaser of Darlings, the actor said he has not only seen the teaser but also watched the film. He said, “Maine Darlings film bhi dekhi hai. Bohot kamaal ki film hai. Jaise aap sab expect karte ho Alia Bhatt ki filmein kaisi hoti hai, usi level pe, usi makaam pe hai (I’ve watched Darlings. It is an amazing film. Like how everyone expects Alia Bhatt films to be, it is at that level.)”.

Darlings is Alia’s debut production with Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies’ Entertainment. It also stars Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew. It is directed by debutante director Jasmeet K Reen. Recently, Karan Johar also heaped praise on Darlings.

Coming back to Ranbir Kapoor, Shamshera released in theatres on July 22. Alia turned cheerleader for him and urged everyone to watch the film. She was also all praise for it and called it ‘Kapoor Day’.
