Ranbir Kapoor reveals how he and Alia Bhatt are prepping for the arrival of their baby

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are one of the most loved couples in Bollywood. Ranbir and Alia tied the knot in April in the presence of their close friends and family members. Later, in June, Alia announced her pregnancy. The actress had shared a picture of herself and Ranbir from the hospital along with the caption, “Our Baby… Coming soon.” After Alia announced her pregnancy, fans showered love on her. Ranbir and Alia are beyond excited to welcome their first child. In a recent interview, Ranbir revealed how he is prepping for the arrival of his baby.

Speaking with Hindustan Times, Ranbir said, “Right now, I am just dreaming with my wife, taking each day as it comes. Like every budding parent, you read your stories, we have started to build the nursery, so doing all the fun things.”

The actor added, “But the anticipation, the excitement, the nervousness, and the anxiety for such a thing doesn’t compare to anything. It’s beyond compare, so taking a day at a time.”

On the work front, Ranbir is currently busy promoting his film Shamshera. Shamshera also stars Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. Ranbir will be seen in a different avatar and his fans are beyond excited for the film. Shamshera is slated to release on 22^nd July.

Apart from this, Ranbir also has Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra in his kitty. Ranbir will be seen sharing screen space with wife Alia in the same. Brahmastra also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy. Brahmastra Part One: Shiva is slated to release in September this year. Ranbir also has Luv Ranjan’s next in his kitty. The actor will also be seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal.
