Ranbir Kapoor reveals the reason why Ayan Mukerji made them reshoot Brahmastra

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra is all set to release in September this year. The team shared the film’s teaser on Tuesday and it has left fans beyond excited. At the promotional event, Ranbir revealed that Ayan Mukerji made changes to the upcoming film after he got suggestions from SS Rajamouli’s father KV Vijayendra Prasad.

Ranbir made this revelation when they were in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh to promote the film. Ranbir revealed that Ayan reshot for four days for the changes in the film.

Pinkvilla quoted Ranbir as saying, “After your father watched the film, Ayan made us reshoot for four days after receiving suggestions from SS Rajamouli’s father. This is because he values him so much and we all are very grateful for his contribution to our film.”

Brashmastra also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy. Ranbir essays the role of Shiva and Alia will be seen as Isha. Amitabh plays professor Arvind Chaturvedi and Nagarjuna will be seen as an archaeologist named Ajay Vashisht. Mouni is playing a villain in the film. Her character’s name is Damayanti.

On Tuesday, Alia had shared a video and announced the trailer release date. She wrote, “In just 100 days, BRAHMASTRA: Part One will be all yours. TRAILER OUT ON JUNE 15^TH.”

For the uninitiated, Alia is currently working on her Hollywood debut film, Heart of Stone. The movie also stars Gal Gadot, Jamie Dornan, Sophie Okonedo, Jing Lusi, Matthias Schweighofer and Paul Ready. Heart of Stone is directed by Tom Harper. The actress also has Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. It also stars Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan and Ranveer Singh.
