Ranbir Kapoor reveals his ‘car got hit, glass broke’ as he arrived late for Shamshera trailer launch

Shamshera trailer was launched today (June 24). Actor Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Vaani Kapoor attended the event. But Ranbir arrived late at the trailer launch event. He revealed why his arrival got delayed. The actor said that there was a small accident and a confusion in the venue of the launch event. Ranbir was in a black shirt and jacket that he paired with denims.

While talking about arriving late, Kapoor said, “My driver first took me to the Infinity mall, we were in the basement parking but there was no one. So we got late.” He added, “As soon as we came out of the mall, my car got hit by someone and the glass broke. Karan says breaking of a glass is auspicious.”

At the event, the Sanju actor also opened up about his married life with Alia Bhatt. He said, “This year has been beautiful. My wedding happened and now two films are coming in a gap of 45 days. I have always been the person who said in films that dal chawal nahi zindagi mein hakka noodles chahiye. But after experiencing life, I feel dal chawal is best. Alia is the tadka, kanda, everything to my dal chawal.”

Coming back to Shamshera, the trailer has been raved by everyone. Directed by Karan Malhotra, it is backed by Yash Raj Films and is all set to hit the theatres on July 22. It will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
