Ranbir Kapoor says, ‘mujhe beti hi chahiye’ while preggers Alia Bhatt wants ‘two boys’

Ranbir Kapoor is currently busy promoting his film Shamshera. The actor recently made an appearance on the show Ravivaar with Star Parivaar. The special episode saw Ranbir having fun and taking some parenting tips from Anupamaa’s Rupali Ganguly. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are expecting their first child.

In the video that is going viral on social media, Ranbir says he wants a daughter. The video begins with Ranbir asking Rupali how he can become the world’s best dad. He asks, “Duniya ke best pita banne ke liye aap mujhe kuch madad denge, meri help karenge ki mein kya kar sakta hu?” Rupali says that having a child is like your heart living outside your body.

The actor then says he wants a girl child with wife Alia. Ranbir says, “Mujhe beti hi chahiye.” He gets trained by Rupali on how to hold a baby and even change diapers. As he cradles the baby doll, Ranbir says, “Ale le meri beti.”

For the uninitiated, preggers Alia had earlier revealed that she wants a baby boy. Earlier, an old video of the actress uploaded on her YouTube channel had gone viral on social media. BFFs Alia and Akansha picked up chits with question about their personal lives and matched their answers to know how well they know each other. As Alia picked up a chit with the question ‘How many kids do I (Alia) want?’, she wrote ‘two’. Her bestie was more specific as she wrote ‘2 boys’. Alia happily agreed and said, ‘Yes, two boys’.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tied the knot in April. Alia announced her pregnancy in June. She had shared a photo with Ranbir and captioned it as, “Our Baby…. Coming soon.”

Talking about Ranbir’s Shamshera, it also stars Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor and is slated to release on 22^nd July. Apart from this, Ranbir also has Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. Ranbir and Alia Bhatt will be seen together in the film. Brahmastra also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy. The film is slated to release in September this year. Ranbir also has Luv Ranjan’s next.
