Late actor Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal starrer Sharmaji Namkeen is set to release tomorrow, on March 17. The film is Rishi Kapoor’s last movie and fans are quite eager to watch the film on the OTT platform. Now, ahead of its trailer launch, Farhan Akhtar who is producing the film has now released a small video of Ranbir Kapoor, son of Rishi Kapoor where he shared an interesting insight about the film that only made us emotional. He revealed that his father was shooting for the film and he fell sick midway through shooting.
He wanted to finish the shoot but he couldn’t do it. Post his tragic demise, they wondered how will they finish the shoot of the film. Ranbir Kapoor revealed they were thinking of using VFX while also mentioning that he was ready to step in and use prosthetics to complete the film. However, it was Paresh Rawal who helped the makers to finish the shoot of Sharmaji Namkeen. The Sanju actor is also heard that first time two separate actors will be playing the same character. Thanking Paresh for helping the film to complete the film, Ranbir calls him a generous man.
