Animal Advance Booking: Ranbir Kapoor expecting his biggest opening ever, film earns Rs 3.4 crores at the box office already

Ranbir Kapoor created an uproar when the first look from his upcoming release Animal was unveiled. While the excitement was building up, the recently released trailer of the film took it to another level. And the audience’s excitement is evident in Animal advance booking collection as the film has taken a roaring start at the box office.

The advance booking for the film opened on November 25 and it took a flying start. According to a report in Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 3.4 crores in just a few hours across 3 languages- Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. While the Hindi numbers are over Rs 3.06 crores, the Telugu version has earned over Rs 33 lacs, and Rs 13000 comes from the Tamil version. The numbers show Ranbir’s popularity and stardom pan-India.

With numbers like these, Ranbir is expected to have the biggest opening of his career with Animal. Until now, the biggest opener for Ranbir has been his last year’s release Brahmastra. It collected Rs 37 crores on Day 1 at the box office. What’s also interesting is that the film is getting such figures even after being A-rated.

The trailer of the film took everyone aback with the grotesque violence and the intensity in Ranbir’s performance. Animal tells a dark story of a father-son bond. The son is neglected by the father but he can go to any heights to get his father’s approval and validation. The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast including Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor. Animal is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and has a release date of December 1, 2023. It will clash with Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur at the box office.
