Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal to lock horns yet again as Animal and Sam Bahadur releases on OTT

After witnessing a clash in theatres, Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur and Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal is all set to lock horns on OTT platforms on 26th January.

Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal starrer Animal and Sam Bahadur released in theatres on 1^st December. While Animal earned a whooping Rs 917.31 crores, Sam Bahadur managed to mint Rs 128.16 crores. After its successful run in theatres, the movies are all set to hit the OTT platform on 26^th January. While Animal releases on OTT platform Netflix, Sam Bahadur will be available on Zee5.

Animal and Sam Bahadur to release on OTT

Talking about Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal, it revolves around a complex relationship between a father and a son. It also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the action drama film is all set to stream worldwide on Netflix from midnight on January 26. There were reports that the film would be releasing on Netflix with extended runtime. However, as per reports, no additional scenes will be included in OTT version.

Talking about the Netflix release of the film, Ranbir Kapoor shares, “We are absolutely overjoyed by the response ‘Animal’ received in theaters. Vicky Kaushal on Sam Bahadur OTT release

The film narrates the journey of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw and pays homage to his indomitable spirit. Expressing excitement, Vicky said, “The film’s digital premiere on ZEE5 will help the story reach a wider audience hence, I am proud to present Sam Bahadur on the 75th Republic Day as a tribute to the undying spirit of our nation. It’s not just a film; it’s a shared journey with the audience, and I hope they find inspiration in this remarkable story.”
