Ranbir Kapoor starrer Shamshera first look poster LEAKED, Director Karan Malhotra reacts

Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor is all set to rule the big screen once again. Recently the makers of Brahmastra unveiled the larger-than-life trailer of his fantasy drama that left fans eager for more. Here are some more goodies for the fans of the Barfi actor. Ranbir Kapoor’s first look from Shamshera has also leaked online. The leaked poster has created a buzz on social media and fans are going gaga over the actor’s latest avatar.

In the leaked poster of Shamshera shared by fans online, Ranbir Kapoor is seen in a rugged avatar. He can be seen wearing layers of dark worn-down clothes while looking intensely at something while holding an axe in his hand. The actor’s rugged and wild look is accentuated by a full beard and long flowing hair. The poster reads, “Karam Se Dacait, Dharam Se Azaad.”

Karan Malhotra of Agneepath fame reacted to the leak. Despite the unfortunate leak, he said, he is happy with the way fans have responded to the poster.

Karan Malhotra told ETimes, “We keep planning our lives so that we land things at the perfect time but in doing so we forget that the Universe is always on time. We wanted to start our campaign mid-next week, but it looks like fans couldn’t wait for us to begin. Incidents like these are a true example of that! I’m just happy that people and fans of Ranbir Kapoor are loving his look and the poster of ‘Shamshera’.”

Shamshera also features Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor and is set in the 1800s in the heartland of India. The story is based in the fictitious city of Kaza. The Karan Malhotra directorial is set to release on July 22, 2022, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
