Ranbir Kapoor’s Bollywood career has been a little rocky lately. Not many of his films have worked marvelously at the box office and he definitely suffered a downfall. But well, the Kapoor lad seems to be taking full responsibility of his failed career.
His film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ has recently made it to the theatres and the promotional interviews for the same are in full swing. So in one such interview with a popular magazine, Ranbir confessed that his films ‘Bombay Velvet’, ‘Roy’ and Tamasha were his mistakes. While talking about these films he was quoted saying, “These are my mistakes and I take full ownership of them. I believed in them. But they went wrong. That’s it.”
He also spoke about how he took his success in his initial days for granted. He said, “When my films were doing well, I was praised, raised to the skies. I was given adjectives like ‘superstar’, ‘next superstar’. When you don’t do well, you have to face the brickbats also. It gave me a chance to understand where my life was going. Maybe, also realize that I had taken my success for granted. I didn’t enjoy it when it happened. Now, when it returns, maybe I’ll enjoy it more, understand it more.”
Okay then!
