Ranbir Kapoor: I am tired of ‘Koffee with Karan’. I was forced this season

Filmmaker Karan Johar’s popular talk show ‘Koffee With Karan’ has been the reason for the entire debate on nepotism. His talk show has always evoked honest and upfront replies from his celebrity guests and the same has created many controversies. In the last season, he managed a casting coup of sorts by bringing in the most unexpected pairings.

It was a surprise to see Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh appear together considering they have a common connection (Deepika Padukone once dated Ranbir Kapoor and is rumoured to be dating Ranveer Singh now). However, in a recent interview, when Ranbir was quizzed if it was an ideal decision to appear on the show, he said, “You know Karan so well and he makes you so comfortable and you are chatting with him and you don’t realise there are a billion people taking every word of yours seriously and that you are going to get screwed for it later. I am tired of ‘Koffee with Karan’. I was forced this season. I told Karan I don’t want to come in and me and Anushka were actually going to protest and get the film industry together to stop this because it’s not fair. He is making money out of us. We come and we get screwed through the year. It’s not right.”

Well, we wonder what does Karan Johar have to say to this now?
