Ranbir Kapoor turns street fighter in Bombay Velvet

Superstar Ranbir Kapoor will be enacting the character of a street fighter in his next Bombay Velvet.Apart from Ranbir the movie also has Anushka Sharma playing the lead role.The two play the role of lovers whose lives intermingle with the evolution of the city of Bombay, through the ’50s to early ’70s.

As per sources,Ranbir revealed,”It is an intense role in which I am playing an ambitious street-fighter.It’s a film based in the ’60s. The role requires me to be a fighter, boxer, somebody who is charged up, ambitious and aggressive.”

Bombay Velvet is a story set against the background of love,greed,violence and Jazz.This a first of the Trilogy will be co-produced by Fox studios and Phantom Films.Also will be released worldwide  on December 25,2014 the festive season.

Going by Ranbir Kapoor’s current trend this too will be a money spinner.
