Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal were seen at the Mumbai airport on Monday morning, they are gearing up to start filming for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s highly anticipated movie, Love and War. This romantic drama, slated for release in 2026, also features Alia Bhatt. The duo arrived at the airport together, ready for their journey to the shoot, though Alia was notably absent.

In a video shared by paparazzi, Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal were spotted inside the airport. They departed from Mumbai. Vicky showcased a fresh look for the film, complete with a moustache.

He recently flaunted in pictures with Katrina Kaif during Karwa Chauth. He was dressed in beige baggy pants and an olive green shirt. Ranbir opted for a blue jacket over a black tee and loose track pants. However, Alia Bhatt was not spotted at the airport, netizens wonder why.

As per some reports by Pinkvilla, this highly anticipated film is scheduled to begin shooting on November 7.Kapoor will start shooting his solo sequences for a couple of weeks before Kaushal joins him. Alia Bhatt is expected to begin her part after completing her current project Alpha in early December. This will be Vicky Kaushal’s first film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

About Love & War

Love and War marks the second collaboration between Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Alia Bhatt, and Ranbir Kapoor. The film was initially set for a Christmas 2025 release but was recently rescheduled to March 20, 2026. The movie was officially announced in January 2024, with an Instagram post. It stated, “We Bring You Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Epic Saga ‘Love & War.’ See You At The Movies Christmas 2025.” The plot details remain under wraps for now.

This new project reunites Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Alia Bhatt following their successful partnership in 2022’s Gangubai Kathiawadi. Alia received the National Award for Best Actress. Her most recent release was Vasan Bala’s Jigra, which unfortunately did not perform well at the box office.
