Ranbir Kapoor vies for ‘Tamasha’ premier in Russia

Bollywood’s heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor is his hope tied on the release of his upcoming film Tamasha. The actor who had faced back to back failures at the box-office in recent times is leaving no stone unturned to make the movie a runaway hit. He has even decided to cash onto his Grandfather’s fame in Russia.

Ranbir Kapoor’s grandfather Raj Kapoor the Showman of Bollywood was much loved by the Russians. Till this day RK films are seen by them with much delight. Ranbir Kapoor and the makers of Tamasha have decided to premier the romantic comedy in Russia.

Sources confirming the news said, The Tamasha team had felt the need to figure out why the relations with Russia kind of ended after Raj Kapoor’s demise and also that if things fall in place, the entire team shall be flying off to Russia.

Recently when Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone attended “Comedy Nights with Kapil” to promote their film. A few Russian filmmakers present in the show were impressed by the two actors, they even invited Deepika to star in Russian movies. Ranbir Kapoor too wants to take the Raj Kapoor legacy forward and is game to work in Russian films.
