Ranbir Kapoor visits Gujarat’s Somnath temple with Ayan Mukerji to offer prayers post Brahmastra release

Ranbir Kapoor is currently basking in the success of his recently released movie Brahmastra. The Ayan Mukerji directorial is riding high on positive reviews from the audience and critics. Brahmastra is raking a fabulous collection at the box office. Earlier on Thursday morning, Ranbir Kapoor was spotted leaving for Ahmedabad with his wife and Brahmastra co-star, Alia Bhatt. A photo of the actor has now surfaced on the internet.

Ayan Mukerji took to his Instagram to share a photo of him with Brahmastra actor Ranbir Kapoor. The photo features Ranbir and Ayan standing in front of the Somnath Jyotirlinga temple in Gujarat. They are posing for a photo, without Alia Bhatt in the frame. Seemingly, Alia did not visit the temple with the boys. Ayan and Ranbir visited the temple and offered prayers as Brahmastra continues to make a good collection.

Sharing the photo, Mukerji expressed his gratitude and mentioned visiting the Somnath temple. He wrote, “Somnath Temple॥ श्री सोमेश्वराय ज्योतिर्लिड़ाय महारुद्राय नमः ॥ My Third Jyotirling Visit this year Had told myself I would come here after Brahmāstra releases, and am so happy and energised that we made it here! #gratitude.”

Many followers of Ayan reacted to the post and dropped comments. In the comments section of the post, one user said, “Shiva meets SHIVA,” while another wrote, “So happy to see you guys there Jai Somnath.” “Visit every jyotirlings specially kedarnath. And Ranbir looking Soo dashing love you RK,” a user said, suggesting some temples to the director.

Earlier on Thursday, Alia Bhatt was clicked with Ranbir Kapoor at the Mumbai airport. The couple was seen posing for photos as they jetted off to Ahmedabad. They look adorable.

Meanwhile, Brahmastra is directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced under the banner of Dharma Productions. The movie features Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, apart from Ranbir. It was released in theatres on September 9.
