Randeep Hooda bags a silver medal at the National Equestrian Championship

We have seen actors like Farhan Akhtar, Sushant Singh Rajput and Priyanka Chopra playing iconic sportspersons on-screen. For the uninitiated, Farhan Akhtar played the role of Milkha Singh in ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’, Sushant Singh Rajput played cricketer MS Dhoni in ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’ and Priyanka Chopra played Mary Kom in the film ‘Mary Kom’. But in the past, we have never seen any actor who is also a sportsperson. Today’s morning was different. Notably, actor Randeep Hooda clinched the silver medal at the National Equestrian Championship (NEC).

Taking to Twitter, Randeep Hooda shared several photos from the event and informed that he have won silver medal at the National Equestrian Championship (NEC). He also called it a proud moment. Take a look:

On the work front, Randeep Hooda was last seen in Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani starrer ‘Baaghi 2’. He will next be seen in ‘Dhaka’. The American film directed by Sam Hargrave is from a screenplay by Joe Russo. It will also star Chris Hemsworth, David Harbour and Manoj Bajpayee. The ‘Sarbjit’ actor will also be seen in ‘Kesari’. ‘Kesari’ is a war-drama that will show us the valour of the 21 Sikh soldiers who fought 10,000 Afghan soldiers in 1897 during the battle of Saragarhi.
