COVID positive Randhir Kapoor shifted to ICU for further tests

Veteran actor Randhir Kapoor has contracted the deadly Coronavirus. On Thursday Randhir was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai. Apart from Randhir, his five staff members had also tested positive and admitted to hospital. The latest update states that the veteran actor is now shifted to the ICU.

Sharing his health update, Randhir told ETimes, “I have been shifted to the Intensive Care Unit to do some further tests. The hospital is taking very good care of me and I thank Tina Ambani. Everything is under control. They are going all out for me. The doctors are around all the time.”

Previously talking about his diagnosis, the actor had told the portal, “I have no clue how I got COVID. I am surprised. Let me also tell you that my entire staff of five members, too, has tested positive, and I have got them hospitalised with me.” He also revealed that his wife Babita and daughters Karisma and Kareena Kapoor have tested negative for COVID.

Randhir recently had also opened up about losing his two darling brothers Rishi Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor in the span of 10 months. Yesterday, Neetu and Ranbir Kapoor organised an online puja in the memory of Rishi Kapoor on his first death anniversary. Ranbir’s girlfriend Alia Bhatt also attended the puja with him.
