Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel has been in headlines for her strong opinions on everything and anything under the sun. She is not afraid to voice her opinions that are at times very harsh. This time, it was Anurag Kashyap on Rangoli’s radar as she slammed him after he asked the Home Minister to apologize.
During the screening of Taapsee Pannu starrer ‘Thappad’, Anurag passed a bold statement directing at the Home Minister of India, Amit Shah. The filmmaker had said, “Duniya mai humari aadhi problems solve ho jaayenge agar home minister sorry bol de toh.. kitni problems solve ho jaayenge.”
Now taking to the Twitter, Rangoli made sure to give the filmmaker a piece of her mind, as she wrote, “Do takke ka nautanki keh raha hai Amit Shah ji sorry bolein…chal be phoot.”
Ranaut sisters and Anurag Kashyap’s political ideologies are poles apart and hence they are constantly at loggerheads.
Meanwhile, Rangoli is busy promoting her sister Kangana’s upcoming film ‘Thalaivi’ which is a biopic on late politician Jayalalitha. The trilingual film is being directed by Vijay and also stars Arvind Swamy. Produced by Vishnu Vardhan Iduri and Shaailesh R Singh, ‘Thalaivi’ is scheduled to release on June 26.
