Rangoli Chandel asks Shabana Azmi: If your anti-India agendas are genuine, why can’t Kangana’s pro-India agendas be genuine?

Earlier today we shared with you why Shabana Azmi feels Kangana Ranaut keeps on making ‘outrageous statements’ against the film industry. The veteran actress had said that Kangana keeps making sensational claims in order to grab eyeballs and stay in news.

And we had told you that Kangana will definitely have something to say on Azmi’s comment. Well, it’s not Kangana but her sister Rangoli Chandel who has lashed out at Azmi’s latest comment. Read on to know what she has said to the veteran actress.

Commenting on Kangana’s various remarks on the film industry, Shabana Azmi told Mumbai Mirror, “Kangana has started believing in her own myth. She says she taught feminism to the film industry, she taught it nationalism. I’m glad she spelt that out because nobody else had noticed! I think she fears the day when she will no longer be in the headlines and so has to keep making outrageous statements to stay in the news. Poor girl, why doesn’t she just do what she is best at, which is acting.”

Now hitting back at Azmi, Kangana’s sister Rangoli took to her Instagram stories and wrote, “Here comes the suicide gang! Dear Shabana ji I have a few questions for you and your husband (Javed Akhtar). Why don’t you both also stick to your respective acting and poetry? Why do you guys actively participate in anti-India politics? To remain in headlines? Or you feel for certain issues? If your anti-India agendas are genuine then why can’t her pro-India agendas be genuine as well? Why different rules for her and different for you?”

The Ranauts and Azmi share polar opposite views when it comes to politics. Hence they always end up clashing. Previously too they have engaged in a war of words thanks to their differing views on various social and national issues.
