Rani Mukerji is back on the big screen after a long gap with the emotional drama, Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway. Her performance is being highly praised by fans and critics alike. The versatile beauty turned 45 on March 21, but the celebrations have begun early for Rani Mukerji. She celebrated her birthday with the media a day ahead.

Yesterday evening the actress was spotted celebrating her birthday with media personnel. Rani looked gorgeous in a white shirt and blue jeans. She accessorised her look with geeky spectacles and her hair tied in a bun. She greeted the paparazzi with a cute smile and also cut a birthday cake with them.

It is a double celebration for Rani Mukerji as her movie Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway is also being appreciated. Speaking about the success of the film she said, “I’m glad that Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway is showing us that a content film can be a theatrical film in a post-pandemic world. I feel as an industry we need to make films that touch people’s hearts and not focus on which genre will work on the big screen and which won’t. If we make a film that’s good, there will always be an audience who will come to the big screen to have a unique community viewing experience.”

She further added that her husband Aditya Chopra too liked the film.

She said, “Last time, he was moved when Yash’s uncle passed away. He didn’t give me a front hug. He hugged me like a child and said ‘Well Done’. It was quite a moment. He praises me behind my back. He tries to avoid praising me in front of me.”
