Rani told us, “I don’t think that there’s anything bigger than the audiences’ verdict and I always live for that. My main target when I am even shooting a film or when I am on set, when I am doing script reading, so always as to will this connect with an audience? So, for me the fact that it has connected with the audience is a huge deal. And especially, in the scenario of so much scepticism that one point your mind just stops working because there’s so much of you know cynicism towards the fact that no no no this is not going to do or they will sample it on OTT and they will do this and I’m like ke bhaiya release karne do picture. Release kardo and then once when the audience gives the verdict after that we can see what we want to say.”

Rani added “But everybody tries to become a trade guru or trade pandit and everybody tries to play God. What they don’t realize is that when you have the support of your fans, the audiences and if you’ve intended to make a good film with the right intention, it will always come through. It might not come through in a large sense but in whatever sense it will come through, it’ll come through in a positive way.”

Apart from Rani, Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway also stars Jim Sarbh and Anirban Bhattacharya. The Ashima Chibber was released on 17^th March, 2023. Rani starrer has collected more than Rs 17 crore so far.
