Rani Mukerji pens a letter about the sexist stereotypes in Bollywood on her birthday

It’s been a norm since forever. A shelf life of an actress is only till she gets married. A married actress is not a profitable venture as her films don’t work at the box office. And if she is a married woman with a child, then it is hard to survive in this industry. But Rani Mukerji is here to change this norm. She is a married woman and has daughter and is making a comeback to the films with ‘Hichki’.

And as she celebrates her birthday today, the hazel-eyed beauty has penned a beautiful letter slamming these sexist stereotypes that exist in the industry. Stating that she hates the word ‘female-centric’, Rani has exclaimed how being a married actress with a child is like hitting a nail in the coffin of dreams.
