Rani Mukerji poses with Simran-Raj after she watches DDLJ’s Broadway adaptation

Rani Mukerji watched the Broadway adaptation of her husband, filmmaker Aditya Chopra’s classic Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge recently. A few photos of the actress from after watching Broadway adaptation have surfaced on the internet. She posed for photos with the actors Shoba Narayan and Austin Colby, who play Simran-Raj in the Aditya Chopra’s musical adaptation Come Fall In Love. Come Fall In Love is a musical adaptation of the classic Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.

Taking to her Instagram, Shoba Narayan aka Simran of Come Fall In Love shared photos with Rani Mukerji. In the photos, Mukerji is in all smiles as she poses with Shoba. She is wearing a printed satin co-ord set with oversized glasses. In the post, Narayan thanked Rani for her words and said it was ‘thrilling’ to have the actress for the show.

Sharing the photos, Narayan wrote, “Thank you Rani for your words. So thrilling to have you in our audience last night (two hearts and smiling face with hearts emojis) #comefallinlove #ddlj @yrf.” Reacting to the pictures, one fan took to the comments section and wrote, “Rani looking beautiful and lovely.” Another fan said, “Oh my goodness, incredible.”

Austin Colby, who plays Roger, an American in Come Fall In Love also shared photos with Rani. He thanked her for her kind words and mentioned it was an honour to meet her. The actor wrote, “Thank you for your warm words of encouragement, Rani Mukerji! It was an honor to meet you and to have you in the audience.”

Come Fall In Love starring Shoba Narayan and Austin Colby as Simran-Raj, will open officially at San Diego’s The Old Globe theatre on September 14. Shoba and Austin play Simran and Roger respectively. Earlier in 2021, Aditya Chopra had made an announcement on his Broadway adaptation of DDLJ.

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge was released in October, 1995. The movie featured Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol as Raj and Simran.
