Ranu Mondal completes a hat-trick by recreating ‘Aashiqui Mein Teri’ with Himesh Reshammiya

It’s a hat-trick for Ranu Mondal as she has recorded her third song with singer-composer Himesh Reshammiya. Himesh took to his Instagram handle to share a video clip of the recording session of the song ‘Aashiqui Mein Teri’ from ’36 China Town’. Ranu and Himesh will be singing the recreated version of the chartbuster song.

Sharing the video clip, Himesh wrote, “Production of the song is in progress, this is just a scratch / thank you, dear people of the globe, for bringing this unadulterated smile on Ranu ji s face, her versatility and confidence are growing with each song.” The song is for his upcoming movie ‘Happy Hardy and Heer’.

Ranu had already recorded two songs from the movie-‘Teri Meri Kahaani’ and ‘Aadat’. She is currently trending on social media because of her versatility. Her melodious voice was noticed by a 26-year-old engineer Atindra Chakraborty when she was singing Lata Mangeshkar’s ‘Ek Pyaar Ka Nagma Hai’. He recorded the song and uploaded on his Facebook account and Ranu became an overnight sensation.

We are now eagerly waiting for all the songs to release so that we can listen to the full versions.

Ranu also appeared in the singing reality show ‘Superstar Singer’ that is judged by Himesh Reshammiya, Alka Yagnik, and Javed Ali.
