India’s Got Latent has landed in trouble ever since an FIR was registered against YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, along with social media influencers Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, Apoorva Makhija, and comedian Samay Raina and they have recorded their statement. Now, Maharashtra Cyber Cell has summoned 30 to 40 celebrities who appeared on the show.

All six of the show’s episodes have been targeted by the Cyber Cell. According to India Today sources, 30 to 40 celebrities who took part in different episodes would be called in for interrogation. The issue concerns alleged offensive and indecent statements made on the show, which have provoked a great deal of controversy and criticism.
Following the controversy, the Cyber Cell has sent an official letter to YouTube, directing the immediate removal of all episodes of the show.
Twelve of the 18 episodes of the show are available for free viewing, while the remaining six are protected by a paywall. The removal of all 18 episodes from YouTube is being demanded by authorities.

The controversy exploded after Allahbadia asked an inappropriate question to a contestant during the episode. He asked, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex for the rest of your life, or would you join in once and stop it forever?”
As soon as the video went viral on the internet it drew sharp criticism online, with many netizens calling for stricter regulation of digital content.
Amid the backlash, Allahbadia issued a public apology, admitting that his remarks were inappropriate. “My comment wasn’t just inappropriate, it wasn’t even funny. Comedy is not my forte. I’m just here to say sorry,” he stated, acknowledging his mistake.
Several complaints were made against Allahbadia after the widely shared video, alleging that he was encouraging profanity. Outrage erupted on social media, with many users calling on authorities to take action against the YouTuber.
