Ranveer Singh collaborates with Ali Abbas Zafar for a comedy, deets inside

Bollywood’s blue-eyed boy Ranveer Singh is all set to collaborate again with director Ali Abbas Zafar. They have previously worked in ‘Gunday’, the action dhamaka that also featured Arjun Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. Now as per a DNA report, Ranveer and the ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ director is all set to come together for a quirky project that will be a mass entertainer. The project will have the ‘Padmaavat’ star showcasing his funny side.

A source close to the project told the daily, “It is a super funny, massy project and Ali was the perfect fit to direct it with Ranveer. The director has two 300-crore plus blockbusters under his belt and the brand is aware that he understands the pulse of the masses. Ranveer will be presented in an extremely outlandish manner. His flamboyance, versatility and comic timing have been explored to the fullest by Ali.”

A few months back Ranveer had roused the curiosity of his fans when he shared a picture of himself on his social media handle, that he captioned as, ‘Coming Soon’.

Ranveer will have ‘Sanju’ actress Karishma Tanna as his leading lady in the upcoming project! Well, before you jump to any conclusion, here are all the details about this project.

Tanna too shared some pictures on her social media handle and wrote, “For @chingssecret !! Comin soon!! It’s always fun shootin wit u! #craybuddy #karishmatanna #ktians.”

The project is actually an advertisement for a noodle brand. Singh has been the ambassador for the brand for a long time. And in the previous commercials, he was seen opposite Tamannaah Bhatia. The earlier ads were directed by Rohit Shetty, but the latest one will be helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Recently, the team released a teaser whereas the video will be unveiled on October 9. 2018.

On the work front, Ranveer Singh is busy with the shoot of his next ‘Simmba’ that is being directed by Rohit Shetty. The flamboyant star will be depicting the role of a cop and the film also features newcomer Sara Ali Khan. ‘Simmba’ is slated to hit the screens on December 28, 2018.

On the other hand, Ali Abbas Zafar is currently shooting for Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Bharat’ in Abu Dhabi. The film is scheduled to release during Eid 2019.
