Ranveer Singh has been in the news of late not because of his work or his rumoured link up with Deepika Padukone but because of his recent shoulder injury. All thanks to a day’s football match, the actor accidentally hurt his shoulder and news of him bowing out of IPL soon started doing the rounds. The spokesperson of Singh confirmed the news by releasing this statement.
“After multiple medical check ups, the doctors have strongly advised Ranveer Singh to not perform at this year’s IPL opening ceremony in which he was doing the grand finale act. They feel his high-energy performance would only overstrain his shoulder and aggravate the injury. Ranveer will continue to shoot for Gully Boy as per its shooting schedule which is not physically strenuous since only performance-based talkie scenes are left to be shot.”
Though Ranveer now is not performing at the IPL grand finale he is still going about doing his ‘Gully Boy’ work. Ranveer took to twitter sometime back and promised his fans to come back stronger.
“Thank you for the good wishes everyone. I’m good. Its just a labral tear in my left shoulder. I intend to come back stronger Love you all “

Love you all ❤🙏🏽 😇— Ranveer Singh (@RanveerOfficial) April 3, 2018
The actor was also snapped last night at a suburban dubbing studio with director Zoya Akhtar. We bet the ‘Gully Boy’ work is on in full swing.
We wish Ranveer a speedy recovery and hope to see him back in action soon!
