Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar & Ajay Devgn to star in Firoz Nadiadwala’s Mahabharat?

After Adipurush a film based on Ramayana, we now have a movie based on the mythological epic drama Mahabharat in the pipeline. Aamir Khan who had earlier shown interest in making the epic drama had later shelved the idea. But it seems producer Firoz Nadiadwala will soon be taking up the mega project. Apparently, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, are being considered for the mega drama.

Firoz Nadiadwala is known for his classic comedies like Hera Pheri and Welcome. He has decided to produce Mahabharat in a never before seen avatar. The film will also be made on a huge budget with a massive cast.

As reported by sources to Bollywood Hungama, “Firoz Nadiadwala has started work on Mahabharat and aims to make it the most visually stunning film ever in Indian cinema.  The principal photography will commence in the first quarter of 2025. It’ll hopefully be released in December 2025 in the original Hindi language and would be dubbed in several languages too.”

Sources added, “The entire tale of the Mahabharat will be conveyed in three hours. Firoz Nadiadwala is confident that it would be India’s answer to Marvel and DC movies. Its budget is expected to be more than Rs. 700 crores“.

Given the pan-India release of Mahabharat, the makers are looking forward to casting established actors and directors.
